Oh, the horror!

Together with my best friends (whose birthdays are arriving), we went to the Night Safari for the annual Halloween Horrors 2010!
Yea, he has red eyes as you can see. Cool right! Too bad he scared more people than he got scared that night. Haha!


This is the Geisha whom Joel & I nicknamed "Zhang Ziyi". You know, the actress who acted in 'Memoirs of a Geisha'?
She's superbly chio in real life! (I meant the one I met, in this case) And doesn't scare people. I like her. Haha!


HAHAHA I wanna laugh everytime I see this picture!!
This guy with the doll was the creepiest, hands down! He'll not only stare at you fiercely, but do a sudden 'ROAR!' at times~

A long weekend

The original plan for this long weekend was to head to Genting.
Main word: "was".
Even though I already told myself the father and son are of a similar character and promises will always be empty ones, I can't help but be disappointed.
Being so generous with words but almost always ending up with nothing..

That kills a little bit of me inside everytime.

Spent the whole day at home yesterday nua-ing and watching the entire series of ANTM.
Looks like a pretty well-spent day to me! Heh :P
Anyhow, me & Boyf are heading to a gallery later, it's gonna be a blaaaast, I've been wanting to go for ages! :)

I'm meeting Shimin to pay Grandma a visit, she just had her eye operation done a few days ago..

I went out with Shimin last Friday, we went shopping at Far East. Same old, same old.
She was the one that said she was only going to do window shopping, but we ended up buying the same amount of loots.
(To be honest, which isn't alot as compared to how we shopped in the past. Barely 2 bags of loots each.)


She wouldn't let me take her picture because she isn't wearing enough makeup :(

OHAI

OHAI! What was it I was saying about not blogging once a month? Hmmm. Can't remember.

I'm legally 21 now! Though it doesn't feel much of a difference. I'm having fun (mostly) at my job & I have great bosses (most of the time when they are not arguing.)
My birthday this year was the BEST I've had in a long time. All the people I love were here, & on my actual birthday I went to the Jurong Bird Park with Darling! Birthday people get in for free (Truth!)
Ohoh, & I got myself a DSLR which is pretty damn awesome. Quality images, anyone? (Even if I ended up kinda broke for this month.)

What I truly believe in, this man has said it well. And, he takes great photography. If you've got a couple of moments to spare, go to his site and you won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

P/S: Would this be an apt moment to say my camera has died on me :( :(
It's sad to say at the point where I found the most beautiful moments to capture, my camera died.
All it says is "Lens Error, Restart Camera". I'm still pondering over to repair it or not, since repair costs already cost more than 1/3 of the price the camera was bought at :(
However I have decided on something, but it can only be fufilled with next month's pay. I'm glad I finally can buy something I've been dreaming about with my own means, not by my family's means.
I'm sure the day I buy it will be a very satisfying day for myself. Cheer me on, will you?

Strange.

It's a weird feeling.

Sometimes when I feel like I'm getting the hang of things, something else always manages to happen and I feel like I am crashing into the 'imma-noobz' stage again.
Or sometimes when I feel like 'Im-still-sucha-noobz-at-this' something else happens and I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of things.

Or.

Sometimes I think they don't like me. But then they do really nice things like buying dessert for me incase I'm hungry (Since I only take lunch every-other-day. Other days I'm either too busy/being buried in chest-deep amount of work or don't feel like eating.)
Or when I think they finally like me and are finally accepting me, they seem really cold.

I don't know if I'm thinking too much or the people have schizophrenia wtf.
I'm taking things every week at a time. Every Monday, when I get on the bus to work, it's a 'SIGH!' feeling, with tonns of :( :( peppered in, and every Friday, it's a 'WOOHOO!' feeling, with little :) :) :) inbetween.

Is my overactive mind making a mess of me again?
