Birthday and H1N1

So. It's been confirmed Darling's not free on my birthday. How nice. Nicest thing? He said (quote),
"So what if you're spending your birthday alone? It's only a birthday. I too, was alone on my birthday."
Alone? I don't think being in camp meant you were alone. What, the tens of people in your bunk weren't counted as humans to you? Alone. Pffffft. They even bought you a cake for crying out loud!
(I know it's not his f-ing fault but I can always grumble right? However if he brings up this invalid point again I swear I'll combust)

[Edit] Another nice thing happened! Guess what? There are < 7 people diagnosed with H1N1 in his camp.
Increasing number by the day. He may not book out until the 30th.
And when he does he is (probably) gonna be sent straight to his deployment which he will stay in for a week or less.
Darling's pretty irritated with the first guy who got down with H1N1 in his camp because it was said that the said guy already kinda knew he had H1N1, yet returned to camp, only telling people about his sickness the day after.

(This week's been nothing but nonsense.)[/Edit]

Off to happier things. If you haven't got me anything at all:
  • Book(s)
I'm very random when it comes to books. Romance, horrors, thrillers, I read almost anything, but buy me something that I'm not even remotely interested in, I won't even touch it. Best way: Get me a voucher for the bookstore LOL.

  • Aquapix: Underwater camera
(Here) A want more than a need, but whatever. It's my birthday list right?

  • Black or Grey Strappy, chunky heels
3" height is the maximum I can go, any higher and I'll probably get killed.
I'm a local size 38, US Size 7 - 7.5, insole 24.5cm! (There all the details you'll need)

  • Nitendo DSi
  • Canon 450D (Hahaha I have to admit how can anyone possibly get this for me?)
Get me some happy pills while you're at it, I seem to lack them lately.

P/S: I really hope Shaoye won't get quarentined or something since he's returning from China. If not all I can do for my birthday is mope around at home doing this:

Believe

(Random picture: Nowadays I keep doodling on all the bottles in the house LOL.)

I always believe in myself. Because if there's one person in this world you can trust the most, that is yourself. Therefore if I think I'm not in the wrong, I will not apologise regardless of the consequences.
Vice versa, if something happens and I realize I might be in the wrong, I will not hesitate in an apology.
I stand quite strong in what I believe in.

I do not need everybody to understand what I do, how I think, how my mind works.
No, not everyone. Just the few that matter to me, I just need them to understand.
Sometimes, even if they don't.. I'll always have myself.
As long as I understand myself, believing in myself.

I may not have much self-esteem, but regarding my beliefs, I have afew.
'Forever' does not exist. I believe in that, hence I don't use the word unless necessary.
Years, decades, centuries may exist, but not forever. Nothing lasts forever, and that is a truth.
I am not being a pessimist or a 'glass-half-empty' person, (To say the truth, I am a 'glass-half-full' kinda person) but just stating my beliefs.

I shall abruptly end this entry here. Just some food for thought I suppose. Birthday list post up next :)

Mona Lisa

(Today's random picture)

Another random picture of today (or night). This is Darling's lil sister Xueting with Darling's new phone.
Most funny thing was that we were discussing about Mona Lisa (LOL fancy a 20 year old and an 8 year old discussing that)
She told me that her teacher told her Mona Lisa was a man dressed in a woman's clothes. (Riiight. Read this)
I wanted to tell her the teacher should probably bang her head against the wall but I didn't think it was a nice thing to say to a 8 year old.

Suddenly, I think June has gone past at a very fast pace.
And I'm abruptly ending this entry now because it feels weird blogging with the boyfriend sitting right behind you LOL.

seventeen days to the 7th

(Random picture: Breakfast time!)

I think it may be kinda prominent now that Darling may not be free on my birthday.
I know it's not like he wanted it that way, it's just that you can't just change how NS works. (Ah for these few years NS's like the bane of my life.. It's been disrupting plans every. Single. Year.)
I'm absolutely in a FML moment ha-ha-ha.
But the thing about this I hate most is not him not being able to be with me, it's the disappointment I feel.
I really hate it when you planned something for the longest time, and when the timeline is so within your grasp, something like this fucks everything up.
I've already planned everything. But now I don't even know if what I've planned will be able to go along with my plan. Grrrrreat!
Life's perfect now right?

This was the day I went to an extremely ulu (read: deserted) place with Piggy to do random things.

It's just very typical for us to order and we can't finish. In these times we would normally count on Chong or Greg, but they were not free that day. Chong is in Tekong now. :( (And bald.)

I like this picture of her. She looks really pretty here :)

Some dinosaur thing at the atrium. No I do not know why the leg and head is seperated.

After shopping around we went for dessert. First time I've ever had cornflakes with icecream? Surprisingly it wasn't that bad.

Taking pictures of food is like my greatest pleasure. I have this folder in my computer full of pictures of everything I've ate it's awesomeeee! :D

This was another day. Darling and I went around Singapore (haha okay fine only East side) and I couldn't even find a decent pair of heels :(

Typical reaction when I try to take his picture. :(

I regret wearing this to Partyworld that day. I think they set the temperation at 10 degrees or something it was so cold I couldn't feel my fingers.

As you can see I'm trying to suffocate Chong LOL.

Greg wouldn't join us in phototaking. He was sad that day :(
(Weichong I wanna smack you for your stupid expression)

So I sneaked around and took a picture secretly.

I think we look really alike. Maybe it's because we've been besties for too many years LOL.
(Though we don't really look nice in this picture I like it I don't know why)

I still do not know my alcoholic limit. But I do know it's not much. The only thing 1/4 of vodka does to me is make me warmer in the cold room. (Which was good. But it tasted horrible.)

Camera lens fogged up :(

And this concludes my random post on 17th days to the 7th. Maybe next I can do a 'What-I-want-for-Birthday' post LOL.

Happiness..?

Yahoo! Answers

Ah the weather's just so hot it's getting me annoyed lately. And I've got 3 ulcers in my mouth = no junk food this week.
Bad start to days = bad moods = bad day overall.
Trying my damnest to solve everything that comes together head-on. I trust it'll be okay. I hope. If not there's always that one solution. One single way .

[EDIT] What I need, is people that don't judge. I don't really need you making snide remarks. If you've got nothing good to say, I'd suggest you shut it. [/EDIT]

Sing the weekend away

(Today's random picture)

And last Friday we celebrated Greg's birthday. Because Greg was so busy we met only at 11.30. PM. Night. It was the latest I have ever met anyone.
(And Greg was busy with his phone with someone, as usual ahem)
(We are at McD cos Piggy wanted the Pink cup they're giving away free. LOL.)

Piggy bought a cake for Greg. And neither of us smoke so we couldn't light the candle. And the cake was so hard Chong broke the knife while cutting it HAHAHA.

The boys ended up digging the cake to eat with their hands. I stuffed half a macroon into my mouth and that was it.
It was too goddamn sweet for my taste. I swear one slice of that will give you diabetes.

And off we went to Partyworld for our singing session. We were supposed to reach at 1am, but we couldn't find the place at first, and walked from Shaw Towers all the way to HMV only to find out it was beside Shaw Towers. Great.

Chong looks like the sleeping buddha in Malaysia's temples LOL.

Irritating Chong with Piggy and me. (Greg you've got shaky hands!)

Ooh neon.

I have shaky hands too haha

Piggy's got worse shaky hands than Greg had. :x

My bestie!

Along with the random guy who poked his head into the picture at the left side. Yes, refering to you Chong LOL.

Hahahah only the 4 of us will ever know what happened :x

Piggy insisted they do the same pose hahah

He's making himself wayyy too comfy on the couch.

See Chong can even sing when he slouches.

The 2 lazy boys. Uh or men. Or boys.

Hahah look at Greg

Too lazy to sit up straight LOL. It was nearing like 4am what did you expect!

Piggy was like, Eh can you 2 act friendlier you 2 are acting like strangers hahah

There! Nicer one

We just can't resist full length mirrors

I think we were talking. Hence the weird expressions LOL.

And at 5am we finally left, mad tired and sleepiness taking over us! Almost crashed into bed the moment I got off ._.

(Greg's birthday card.) Hope you've enjoyed your birthday my dear!

The next day I was awakened by Joel & Hui's texts and calls asking me to wake up ._. (7's my lucky number woo!)

Joel wanted to go this place for porridge but it was closed so we settled at Xin Wang's for late lunch/dinner (breakfast for me) LOL.
Hui could only eat porridge cos she had her seperator put in :/

I think we were discussing about the century eggs Hui ordered.

Me: It smells sour, leh.
Hui: It's sweet AND sour chicken, mah! (LOL. Totally bimbotic moment for me.)

Joel's baked pasta. He said the cheese was totally rubbery and this would be the first and last time he'll be eating it. But I liked it, leh!

After that we went to rot (read: slack) at Joel's house where we read funny letters.

The next day we were meeting (again) for Kbox. Singing 2 times in 3 days. I'm sure my craving for singing has absolutely ended as of this week LOL.
I bought the sweet cos I realized they'll be late only when I reached. It tasted horrible. It was a waste of my 80c.

Fidget.

Fidget.

Fidget.

Smile :D

Tastes like any other enconomy rice you can find in hawker centers, or worse.

He's so engrossed in each of the songs he sang. And Hui and me don't really know 65% of the songs he wanted to sing LOL.

Gary Cao Ge's songs are awesome.

And more fidgeting. Hahah

I'm invisible! (At least half of me is. Hui remarked I looked like a ghost hahaha)

HAHAH I kept fidgeting and Hui could not take a decent picture of me. LOL.

Their turn to fidget.

Joel is still very much engrossed in his song.

I think it's safe to say this is our only decent photo we have throughout our years of friendship.

HAHAHA

Yay! & it's the first time we went to Kbox with each other. ;)

And this entry's not as backdated as the other entries. A random quiz to end this entry, from here:

Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
