Underwater world trip

Today's picture: Darling and I got these while watching Harry Potter last time! Bad thing is, once the straw drops in the cup you can't get it out without opening the cap. (Which happened twice during the movie.)


And here are the overdue pictures. Though I still don't have the complete set I decided to post them up anyway. We're on Sentosa Express here!

We all agreed that this bus ride was the best part of the trip, being on the open-top bus!
We took a full round just to enjoy the breeze and scenery, and it was greeeeaaat~(And we didn't have to spend a single buck LOL)

The first thing we noticed after stepping into Underwater World was the reef sharks attacking one another :(


We also fed the stingrays, where I was scared stiff that they would bite my hand off. (They didn't.)
(I thought they were quite stingy with the amount of food given, though. 6 pieces of extremely small meat for $3 wtf)






Once you put your hand in they'll be sure to swim away. (Unless you've got food, which is a different story.)

I told Darling that I liked jellyfishes cos they swim (or float?) rather gracefully (In my opinion) Darling thinks they are evil creatures who sting people. -_-


At the Living fossils exhibit. You can climb in this thing and see the fossils from the inside, though I'd recommand not doing so cos it kinda smells in there.

Darling and I are obsessed with these machines lately, anyway. We went to Iluma on Tuesday (?) and spent over $50 on them -_-
I told him it's okay if we don't catch anything, but what can I say, stubborn boyfriend. (Stubborn boyfriend = stubborn girlfriend)


And we are totally obsessed with this game of late! Though the story is quite repetitive the different characters are fun to play around with, both the good guys or the villians.
Favourites to play are definately Squall and Cloud, easier navigation (and cute ahem) in my opinion.

In-laws.

Knowing that you're tired and you're lying on the bed yet you can't sleep because your nose is blocked sucks.
Totally sucks waking up to a full-blown stuffed nose.

Grandma came by the other day and she was talking to me about an upcoming wedding of my cousin's.
Talking about guest lists, family matters.. And my parents. How she doesn't like Mom or thinks Dad isn't very ___.
It's not a secret the Mom-and-mother-in-law relationship ain't good between them both. It's always been this way.
But it just doesn't feel very good hearing about your own loved Mom's bad words from your loved Grandma, is it?
If I rebut her it wouldn't be nice either. How could I? I wonder why I'm liked, though my parents aren't?

I like to think it won't happen to me, because boyfriend's Mom and I get along OK. I mean, we aren't exactly besties, but we do talk and sometimes she calls me when she can't get boyfriend.
So I guess we're on a mutual level of 'friendship' towards each other. Which is a good thing as opposed to Grandma and Mom.

On a random note, I am going to dye my hair tomorrow. /shivers
Can't say I'm exactly excited but can't say I'm not anticipating it either.
I hope I don't end up looking like some chao ah-lian HAHAHAH.

Shopping urges (depleted)

Usually I always shop online. As you guys know 75% 90% of my wardrobe are clothes I've ordered online. But in the few recent months the urge has depleted to a (very sad and) minute level.
Even when I go out to shop I end up buying nothing at all. (Nothing but food. Food = weight = not good.)
It's good in a way that I'm saving money (though not on food) but bad in a way that my wardrobe's been the same old thing it's been. :(


This is the only thing I've been interested in. However gorgeous it is, the only reason why it's not in my shoe cabinet yet is that its' thin (and killer-ish looking) heel would probably kill me.
It's 4.5" for goodness' sake I can't even walk right in 3" heels already. :(



I'm also having breakouts lately due to the stupid haze. Not only has it been irritating my nose, but also my face. GREAT.

Birthday smurfday

After a few days of Blogger's editor facing problems, now I can finally blog. Who knew the solution was just a simple Ctrl + F5?
Anyhowwwww, I'm extremely excited about tomorrow! Me, Darling, Hui and Joel are heading out!
(I hope it won't end up like 07/07/07, I'll never forget that day's events, horrible)


On my birthday this year, guess where I went! (Huge-ass dinosaur and primary school kids running around)
Shaoye accompanied me to the Science Center! The last time I came here was more than 10 years ago, like when I was 9 (I feel like such a nerd. Wait. I AM a nerd HAHAH)

(Sound waves and vibrations) Amazingly enough, we thought the whole trip would take us 3 - 4 hours to complete. We went in at 12, we were out by 2.30pm. Gee.
Overall I think it's a fun place to go to, before you go just make sure some of the places are not in construction (and in working order ahem) $6 for admission!


Because it was too early for dinner we went for tea. (3pm is too early for tea too I think.) Shaoye cut up all the food nicely for me hahaha (What to do, I'm SNN! [Only Shaoye will understand that I think.] LOL!)

Part of totally random presents I received. Hui & Joel I will wear that top out, just not with you guys okayyyyy!
Greg came by that night (Thank you Greg, it's the thought that counts :) and gave me his present of "Chocolate (Edible) Cookies (Edible) Ice cream (Inedible) cake (Inedible)". Greg, you win the most random gift award LOL!


Piggy sent me cupcakes and the person who delivered it was a tad.. Dense I think.
Me: How long can the cupcakes be kept for?
Her: Best to be eaten in 3 days :)
Me: Eh, okay. But what's the maximum number of days I can keep them for without them going bad?
Her: You can keep it in the fridge, but best eaten in 3 days.
God I swear I almost vomitted blood ._. But thank you Piggy my dear, though 20 cupcakes were abit too much I almost couldn't finish it LOL!


Compared to past birthdays, I really liked this year's birthday. Nothing fancy, just lots of love. :)


Harry Potter 6: People who've not watched the previous movies shouldn't watch it lest you get confused. The focus point was not clear though.
The movie, named Half Blood Prince, yet did not elaborate much on him. To me, I feel this movie was more of a transition stage, a better setting for the next movie(s) to come.
You have to admit, the actors' acting were quite good though. I especially liked Tom Felton (As Draco Malfoy), you could almost feel his pain and reluctance.
There was some scenes in the movie which were quite redundant, though :/


Our 2nd movie that day? Transformers 2.
As the title suggests, the fallen, revenge, same storyline as the first movie. Honestly, I watched it for Megan Fox (LOL)
Initially I thought Transformers was totally a guy flick, but now that I've watched both, I think girls would find it quite entertaining as well. Action, comedy, good graphics (And not just watch it for Megan Fox like I do LOL!)

I told you 7 was my lucky number.

Birthday = Great (Pictures another time)
Friends = Awesome (All the strange + impromptu + random presents this year + the love!)
Boyfriend = Love (His one message beat all 27 people who told me Happy Birthday LOL)

That sums up my week.
I am off to roll around in bed. I hate periods.

If you didn't know, I've always thought 7 was my most favourite (and lucky) number.
(The exact time I'm typing this now is 7am, can it get any more coincidental?)
Whenever anyone asks me for a number, I'll always say 7 in a heartbeat.

I've always thought it was amazing that we have 7 days in a week or why Snow White had 7 dwarves. (Lousy example, but whatever. Check Wikipedia for more!)
7 has always held something in my heart. Not alot, but not a little either, something.
Like how there are 7 friends in this world I would trust my life with, how I've got 7 cousins, and how I know there's 7 people I can always talk to when I'm not feeling the best.

Today, marks the 3rd year Darling and I have been together since, so happy anniversary my baby. 3 years, eh?
Pretty much my longest relationship so far, and his too. :)
Make sure you hold up your promises when you come back eh! :P

Today, is also my birthday, so.. Happy Birthday, me.
You've finally aged and reached the big 2-0. Saying goodbye to the '1', it's time to grow up of your childish self!

you people are the bunch that stuck with me, listening to me whine and complain while time passes us by.
You guys are the bunch I know I can always trust regardless. Though sometimes I do wish we didn't have to grow up so fast.
Time, sometimes distance people. I don't like the idea of that, I hope all of us can remain as close-knitted as we were, because I love you all the same, no matter how much time has passed.
Once my bestie(s), forever my bestie(s). Of course, that is how I think, but I just felt a need for you guys to know. :)
